Toys for tots

The Toys for Tots campaign is a program that aims to provide toys to less fortunate families living within Halton Region.
Georgetown Kia has joined hands with Halton Police to support this campaign.
As we enter the month of November, the Halton Regional Police Service is once again looking to organize events and seek assistance related to our annual Toys for Tots program. As in years past, Halton police is looking to collect as many toys as possible to aid those less fortunate in the Halton Region. To improve the delivery of the program this year, the Halton Police has formed a new and exciting partnership with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation.
The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is a Milton-based charity started by wrestling legends, humanitarians and philanthropists; Tiger Jeet Singh and his son Tiger Ali Singh. For the last nine years, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation has organized their "Miracle on Main Street" event which has raised millions of dollars for children and families in need who live in our Region.
By partnering with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, The Police Service will be able to enhance their already successful Toys for Tots program and work collaboratively to help more families in need than ever before. It should be noted that the organizations and schools that Police Service already assist will not be impacted by this collaboration.
Each year we have great difficulty in supporting children 12 - 18 years, and it would be appreciated if you could
solicit gifts for that age group. Young children are always very well provided for (and easy to buy for) however people have
a tendency to overlook the older child, perhaps not realizing they are included. **All gifts donated in Halton Hills go
to families in Halton Hills.
